Motaland is a digital studio with an analog vibe. We believe that digital sounds great when it's paired with great converters, pristine outboard gear, and engineers who understand warmth and tone. We Specialize In...Music!

Some studios get a reputation for a particular style of music, and to be sure Motaland has historically been known as a place to go for aggressive styles like rock, punk, and metal (and we are really, really good at those).

But between our two house engineers, our tastes and experiences cover a lot of stylistic ground. Since our expansion last year we've been hosting a wider variety of styles. We are willing and absolutely able to record any type of music you bring to our studio. We have diverse tastes and open minds, and we're able to capture any style.
